Visual Studio .Net Resource editor

When i change the language property for a resource ( bitmap, dialog etc..)
to
English (us) it displays Neutral (Sys. Defualt) in the resource view. This
is a big problem because my resource will not load properly.
Im not sure if this is a setting in Visual Studio .Net or a windows setting
somewhere.
