Position: Intermediate PowerBuilder/Java Developer
Location: Toronto
Type: FULL-TIME ONLY

Our client, the leader in financial services supply programs, has
asked Keith Bagg I.T. Search to exclusively s out individuals to
assist the organization's continued growth and transformation into the
leader of e-transaction and call centre solutions for the financial
services industry

Your background includes at least 4 years of solid hands-on experience
with systems analysis, design and development. You have a strong
understanding of and experience with the full software development
lifecycle and have SOLID experience with PowerBuilder and Java
applications.

This is an exciting opportunity that will provide many challenges and
opportunities for learning and advancement. You will be using your
PowerBuilder skills to enhance and maintain existing application as
well as using your Java/J2EE skills working with the J2EE development
team to develop new applications.


Responsibilities

·Participate in Business/Systems Analysis and Functional Design
walkthrough.
·Participate in technical design.
·Develop effective applications that meet clients' quality objectives,
and conduct Unit/Integration Testing.
·Conduct code reviews by adhering to company's development standards.

Requirements
·University, College education or diploma in Computer Sciences or
Engineering related fields.
·Knowledgeable of web and client-server architecture.
·4-5 years of systems analysis, design and application development
experience.
·Minimum of 3 years of application development using PowerBuilder, as
well as with Java.
·Development experience with PL/SQL, J2EE, HTML, XML, C, C++, and
other object oriented tools.
·Experience in working with Unix shell scripts and Pearl scripts.
·Experience in working with Oracle and Websphere.
·Some experience with B2B integration.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.
