asp.net "invalid file name for monitoring"
I am trying to run asp.net pages. The server is accessed
via http://sitename/username

I have verified it is using port 80 and aspx extensions
are configured. But when I run and asp.net page I get the
following error:

Invalid file name for monitoring: 'E:'. File names for
monitoring must have absolute paths, and no wildcards.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the
execution of the current web request. Please review the

it originated in the code.

There was no way for you to know it, but this is a classic asp newsgroup.
While you may be lucky enough to find a dotnet-savvy person here who can
answer your question, you can eliminate the luck factor by posting your
question to a group where those dotnet-savvy people hang out. I suggest
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet.
