Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Hey everyone, We got this message a couple of days ago about the training announcement for NYPHP. I noticed that it's going to tim.gales@nyphp.org. He's no longer working with the NYPHP training program. Please change the contact email address to education@nyphp.org and only myself will be the contact for NYPHP related events and training. We have a new training program (Rasmus: it uses your book). If we could get the message text updated, that'd be great. The URL should be http://www.nyphp.org/content/training/twodaycourse.php and the text for #1442 should be: New York PHP's two-day training course is designed to move you swiftly and thoroughly through the key concepts you need to know when engaged in modern Internet and Web development. From working with your online servers, to MySQL and SQL, to core Apache and HTTP concepts, and of course in-depth coverage of the PHP language, instructor Jeff Siegel shares his broad-based experience to deliver real-world skills and techniques not found in any other PHP course. Students receive: * Complimentary copy of "Programming PHP" from O'Reilly Publishing * Printed and bound course material * Personal accounts on New York PHP's Training Server * Personal workstations during training With hands-on, server-based instruction, Jeff guides participants through: * About the Course and Additional Resources * Server Orientation and your New York PHP Training Account * Introducing PHP, HTTP and Apache * Working with the Text Editor, UltraEdit * PHP Source Code Structure * Form Basics * Variables, Operators, Expressions, and Control Structures * Functions and Variable Scope * Additional Tools - FileZilla and Putty * Database and SQL Fundamentals * PHP, MySQL and Forms * Datasets and Normalization * Sessions, Cookies and Keeping State * Error Handling Basics URL: http://nyphp.org/content/training/twodaycourse.php Thanks guys, --- Hans Zaunere President New York PHP http://nyphp.org > -----Original Message----- > From: PHP Webmasters [mailto:php-mirrors@lists.php.net] > Sent: Friday, September 17, 2004 6:10 PM > To: tim.gales@nyphp.org > Subject: Event #1442 Approved: Two Days of PHP Training >=20 > This event has been approved.
