It doesn't do that on my MacOS X system. Maybe you should switch. Or
better yet, why install IIS ;)p Don't bother patching it. It'll do
just fine.

(Top posting fixed)

Without knowing how you installed it I'd suggest the following ideas:
1. change the user the apache service starts as
2. add yourself to the local "Administators" group
3. both #1 and #2.

BTW - google this problem, you're not the first and there were plenty of
hits when I looked a few minutes ago.

Happy hunting!

ehh excuse me !!!! =3D better yet, why install IIS ;)p Don't bother =
patching it. It'll do just fine.

ADVISE like yours spreads the risk of w32 viruses / worms.

I strongly advise PATCHING any system that runs IIS, better still ditch =
Windows altogether :)

Havent looked at it for a while & it was called 'phpdev' when I did .

This will install php/mysql on your xp system and automatically
configure everything so it works first time straight off the button
without any g stuff being needed .

TMK it comes complete with phpmyadmin and the invision forum .

I use appserv which does a similar job, and does it nicely.
