Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.hi can any recommend a free web server to get with php and mysql development with winXP (home). I just want it for personal use and I dont want any screens at bootup asking to login as admin...etc thanks

(Top posting fixed) Without knowing how you installed it I'd suggest the following ideas: 1. change the user the apache service starts as 2. add yourself to the local "Administators" group 3. both #1 and #2. This will install php/mysql on your xp system and automatically configure everything so it works first time straight off the button without any gstuff being needed . TMK it comes complete with phpmyadmin and the invision forum .
