Does anyone use Wiki in their workplace?
I am thinking of setting up a WikiWikiWeb at work, so that a number of
software development groups can collaborate, and increase each others
knowledge about their work, or their issues.

Ideally, I'm looking for something easy to administer (chances on, I'd
be the administrator, in my "spare time"), and for something that can
be hosted on a Windows 2K system.

I was wondering a few things:
1) Is anyone using Wiki successfully now, for similar purposes?
2) If so, which Wiki?
3) Is there a better collaboration tool to use?

Thanks!

Re: Does anyone use Wiki in their workplace?
Are you sure a wiki is what you really want? Will the pages need frequent
or constant editing/additions? If you just want an exchange of information
wouldn't a bulletin board or lightweight news server or possibly a maillist
server serve your purposes better?

Although these different types of servers are all relatively easy to set up,
make sure the type you select is what you want to finish with since it would
not be an easy task to xfer the info from one to another should you decide
to change your vehicle in midstream.
