Need help with Visual InterDev 6.0 Copy/Paste problem

I have a Copy Paste problem in Visual InterDev 6.0 SP5.
When I edit an .asp page and select some words and try to copy, the copy
will not work consistently. I will see the paste image in the toolbar go fro
m
colored to greyed out and it is never in the same sequence. I can hit copy 3
times and the paste image will stay greyed out, almost like the copy is not
making it to the clipboard or the copy command is clearing out the clipboard
.
Copy should never clear out the clipboard. I never had this problem with
windows 2000. This is a new PC with the following

Windows XP SP1 (not allowed to use SP2)
Visual InterDev 6.0 SP5
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003

This annoying problem is delaying my development time because I have to look
inthe top to make sure the paste is not greyed out after copying.

Is there anyone that knows how to fix this?
