A previous post to this thread will give you clues to the answer, even
though it raises some unanswered questions.

I believe this problem is rooted in user rights. See if you can solve
your problem using the following reference to figure out what
command-line arguments or environment variables might redirect temporary
file output to a path where a user will be able to write. temppath and
swappath are likely leads.
