Sub Select **SOLVED**

I have a decent amount of Oracle SQL experience so I don't know
what I have done wrong here.  I have tried several different
iteration using aliasses, joins, IN vs NOT IN and nothing seems to
make this simple query work.  Any feedback is much appreciated.

SELECT _DISTINCT Player_Name, Pool
FROM Eligable_Players WHERE Player_Name NOT IN (
SELECT Player_Name
FROM Draft_1 _)

--------

Here is the error I get

SQL-query : _

SELECT DISTINCT Player_Name, Pool
FROM Eligable_Players
WHERE Player_Name NOT
IN (

SELECT Player_Name
FROM Draft_1
)
LIMIT 0 , 30

MySQL said:

You need MySQL v4.1 for subquery support.

In this case a simple left join will solve the problem

SELECT  DISTINCT a.Player_Name, a.Pool
FROM Eligable_Players a LEFT JOIN Draft_1 b
ON a.Player_Name = b.Player_name
WHERE b.Player_Name IS NULL
