Calling WinHelp from a Tk application

Hello,

I have been trying to call WinHelp from a Tk application running on
XP.

The problem I face is that each time the help file is called, windows
opens a new window for it (so there are more and more help windows
unless one is closed).

Is there a proper api for perl that would handle this / is there a
workaroung / am I overlooking something simple?
