You have seen claimed?  well, we (the developers of Hercules) made a
survey once on which host (PC) operating system our users were using,
and Windows made up for about 70%, the rest is Linux. MAC OS/X, and
some others

for an MVS Turnkey system running under Hercules

Any poxix environment.  Various unices, windoze, macos and z/Linux...
