job opening in NH for cobol
Senior Developer

Able to work on complex projects, involving multiple tasks with
minimal direction.  Has a good fundamental grounding of the HR/Payroll
business domain.

Requisite Skills
•	Proven ability to meet aggressive delivery schedules in a complex
environment.
•	Development experience on multiple platforms – preferably MVS and
Unix.
•	Working knowledge of COBOL, JCL.
•	Development and data design experience with Oracle or DB2 relational
databases.
•	Experience with large Enterprise Software Application suites from
Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft.
•	Perform technical analysis and data design on complex projects.
•	Produce analysis and design documentation within a large-scale
system development methodology.
•	Experience with commercial software version control utilities.
•	Very good to excellent verbal and written communication skills will
be used for:
o	Production of project documentation
o	Constant interaction with technical teams and business partners
•	Successful software development experience across the full lifecycle
of large complex projects.
•	Exposure to software projects in the HR and Payroll functional
domains.


Preferred Skills
•	Strong background in mainframe COBOL/PACBASE/MVS/CICS/DB2 batch and
online application development and troubleshooting.
•	Implementation and development experience with HR Access application
software and development tools.
•	Solid software development experience for the HR and Payroll
business functions for large companies in a US taxation environment.
•	Solid knowledge of payroll industry standard practice and related
legal compliance, finance and administration issues.
•	Exposure to Java, Javascript and WebSphere development on Unix
platforms
•	Use of enterprise-level job scheduler/submission utilities.

When posting to comp.lang.cobol please include a rate, or range of rates,
associated with the position(s) offered; doing otherwise leads many to
conclude that you are either trolling for resumes or running a blind ad to
determine rates.

BTW

Veritude is a newer name for Fidelity , kinda like their own agency to
recruit people to work for Fidelity.

been a while since I have been back to this group glad to see that
Docdwarf is still bugging the job posters with out rates!
