Migration From MF OC 4.x To Server Express
All:

I am getting ready to migrate from MF Object Cobol 4.x to the
latest/greatest Server Express package (version 2.2 I believe).

As I've always found this board to be a very knowledgeable arena, I am
soliciting opinions (good, bad or indifferent) and advice (
suggestions, caveats, etc) anyone may have to offer relative to this
process. I find its always best to hear from the people who have
actually undertaken the process as opposed to the people who are
trying to sell you on it.

If you have made this sort of move before, I'd love to hear feedback
from you. Was it a positive experience? Any drawbacks? Any advatages?
I'm sure you get the idea.

Just for information purposes, my platform is HP-UX 11i. I have one
development machine and one production machine to work with.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Re: Migration From MF OC 4.x To Server Express
I used to have OC on UNIX
I now have Server Express on SuSE Linux

My software works really fine
I had no problem.

Just FYI, the current Server Express for HP-UX 11 is 4.0, with SP1
to be released in the near future.
