I've not noticed much, if any, correlation between programming ability and religious affiliation: the best programmers I know are a couple of Catholics , a Lutheran, an atheist, a Hindu, two evangelical Christians, and one guy who se religion I never knew. The worst ones are a couple of Catholics, two evangelicals, an atheist, and a reincarnationist.
