You're still thinking in terms of the military being used only as a stronger
political tool. True, the military is probably most often used that way,
either as a potential threat, or to "whack them around a bit" until they
give in. But in the most extreme situations, where an enemy simply will
not stop fighting you, military force can still be effective. No one can
attack you Howard, when they're dead. Some Japanese military units
never surrendered after WWII, and continued to fight to the last man.
But, once they were all dead, the fighting did stop.

Perhaps you think killing every Arab in the world will work, but I doubt
the USA can manage it without nuking the entire region.

If you do, I suspect that even some Canadians will start fighting back.
Probably cause a civil war as well.

I didn't say that this was one of those situations, Donald. Are you saying
that *all* the Muslims will continue to attack us and *never* stop? I don't
think the terrorists will ever stop; I believe they will essentially have to

killed to the last one. But I really hope that isn't true of all Muslims. No

all these people are Arabs. Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, for example,
aren't Arab.
