"I am the way" is the quotation that occurred to me. The whole thing is
a bit silly, and rather primitive to me though.  If we are going to
invent a god, we can at least do it better today than they did a few
thousand years ago. As Pete and Howard say, why would we worship a god
with a morality we would not accept in a neighbour?
