The link to the COBOL FAQ regularly posted on this group contains a list of compiler providers and their websites, many/most/all of them provide documentation on their websites. Without being exhaustive SQL suppliers are IBM ORACLE MICROSOFT INFORMIX Microfocus (probably) MYSQL Again they all have websites and some if not all have the documentation available there. Robert
