Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Team, I like this group and I like reading the postings but I do have a problem with the people that post all the MI5 junk (there email (fake)address is ending with @mi5.gov.uk ) in this (and other groups). Is there any way how they can be blocked? Michael

If you are using a web client like google gropus, I don't think there is. You can report it, but I'm not sure how effective it is. You could also use a full featured usenet client which normally has the ability to filter messages based on user defined criteria. It's been awhile since I used one so I cannot give a recommendation to a specific one though. Back in my heavy usenet days I used Agent (http://www.forteinc.com/main/ homepage.php) with great success. -adam http://adam.goucher.ca

I use a browser since I'm working on a lot of different environments. Michael

What web-based service do you use? Google Groups do not offer filtering... I think Netscan did, but it was closed ealier this year... Let's search -- the first to find any other website in which filtering is an option, let the others know :) Shmuel - http://testing.gershon.info
