But to actually answer your question, check out sourceforge's list of
most active projects (both in terms of downloads and code change) and
see if you can find interesting stuff there to play with. All the apps
are free, and you have access to the source code to practice static
and glass-box techniques as well. (Of course, sourceforge's main page
seems to be broken as I type this...)

Friends,

Me too a newbie interesting in software testing. I presently staying
at Delhi, India. as a political refugee under UN protection.

In India many ads are found in local media about SQT.  The training
cost is around 100 USD . As arefugee I cant afford that . Than I have
no basic comp skill.

Anyone can give me a clue to free online SQL course for beginner with
no comp skill.
