OT - Topics and Sujbect
This is just my "period" request that when you are replying to a thread and
you
are changing the SUBJECT (*especially* if it is now "OT" - it would be REALL
Y
nice if you would also change the subject line.

Obviously, the current discussions on "trees in the US Southwest and how muc
h
Tea and what flavor" are what prompted me to post this now.

I look at subjects (especially subjects of longer threads) and give priority
 to
those related to COBOL. It is a little annoying (to me) to have to weed thr
u
"likely sounding" threads - and for people who do NOT top post - how far I h
ave
to read before I discover that the latest note has nothing to do with COBOL
or
programming.

This is an unmoderated newsgroup, so you certainly may do what you want, but
 I
can at least REQUEST that you seriously consider changing the subject like w
hen
you are changing the subject of your post.
