Sorry I didn't get to answer this sooner, Frank.

The answer is "I don't know" and can't know until I see what it takes to do
it using COM.

(That probably won't be for a little while yet; I am trying to get the Batch
program that accesses the service, running as a demo, and it is a lot of
work. It involves accessing resources that are part of the C# Assembly
itself (reflection) and I haven't done this before, so I'm learning as I go
:-))

Thanks for posting this code. As soon as I can, I'll do the Java COM
solution.

Cheers,

Pete.
