I think that it folded.

I still myself use Graham Toal's original version of TeX (with Paul Field's
DVIview and the bibliographic program tib for all my written work).

I use my own macro package. Would your script be convertible to formats
other than LaTeX? ie how obfuscated is the Perl ...?
