Author Active Directory whoami?

Most users use userid@domain to log into Active Directory. The problem is
figuring out the dn of the logged in user. An LDAP search works but it's
dosn't seem very elegant.

So I spotted Net::LDAP::Extension::WhoAmI. Like puppy with a new ball, I
jumped on it and gave it a shot. No luck, AD doesn't support the extension.
ideas?
Thanks
Eric
