Wrong mailing list at lib/Net/LDAP/Schema.pod
|

| Hi, folks.
While answering an RT ticket open for perl-ldap-owner@perl.org (the
address of the list administrators), I was left with some doubts.
The requestor pointed that at "lib/Net/LDAP/Schema.pod"
(perl-ldap-0.33 distribution), we read
Please report any bugs, or post any suggestions, to the perl-ldap
mailing list <perl-ldap-dev@perl.org>.
In every other files, the mailing list address is
<perl-ldap@perl.org>. But there are some inconsistencies, like (from
"lib/Net/LDAP.pod")
A discussion mailing list is hosted by sourceforge at
<perl-ldap@perl.org> No subscription is necessary!
But perl-ldap@perl.org is not hosted by sourceforge. And there is at
"lib/Net/LDAP/FAQ.pod"
Archives of messages since we switched to using sourceforge
can be found at
http://www.geocrawler.com/lists/3/SourceForge/3482/0/
It is "switched to" or "switched from"? Also this address does not
work anymore. If I understood correctly, the perl-ldap mailing list
went from perl.org to sourceforge and then back to perl.org (which is
today the main mailing list of the project). Is that right? If so, I
will prepare a patch to fix this in the docs of the distribution.
Regards,
Adriano Ferreira.

Fixed in SVN: changed to perl-ldap@perl.org.

These have already been fixed in SVN.
SF is not mentioned any more in perl-ldap.
Thanks for pointing at the error
