It means that if you pay within 20 days you pay the "net" price - after
that you pay a higher "gross" price.
It implies that there are two prices, with a higher price for later
payment.
Sometimes it is expressed as a discount for early payment, sometimes as a
surcharge for late payment.

| Thanks! I am a vendor so if I ship the product before the reseller pays
in case of Net 20, that makes
little sense to ask for different amount if they fail to pay with 20
days. So it is actually a ship after paid
approach?
