That post, frankly, should never have been allowed by the moderators. I
wrote a long reply, confirming all the correct points and rebutting all the
incorrect ones. Looking at how long such a document is, how off topic it
is, and what a complete waste of time it all is, I deleted it. I'm
surprised, at any rate, that anyone should want to function as my
Biographer. That yarn covers everything from youthful indiscretions at 23
to my current status at 35.

The only errant impression I would like to correct is why I'm an IGF judge.
(1) Because Alex Dunne, the former contest chair, invited me to be. (2)
Because I've judged 3 IGFs now, so it's a little too late to say I'm not
qualified to do the job. ;-) I take the IGF very seriously; if anyone has
a serious interest in the dimensions or practical problems of the contest,
feel free to send me private e-mail.
