Hi,
We want to test/simulate workload for Web applications generated by CA
Advantage Gen tool (GEN) (AllFusion Gen or Cool:Gen) using IBM
Rational Performance Tester (RPT), but it seems that those
applications generated by GEN tool are compressing and decompressing
the user Web Browser data before to send to the J2EE server. The same
for the J2EE server response.
Questions:
1- Someone knows if is possible to test/simulate workload using RPT
for applications generated by GEN tool?
2- If is possible, which routines use GEN tool on java scripts and
which classes?
3- Which algorithms is using GEN product to implement compression/
decompression of the data.
Thanks
