I do not agree with this statement, I think testing plays very big
role in improving the quality of software. It is also not true that
testing can come after certain potion of project is completed, ideally
tester should be involved from the requirement phase itself. We have
so much data available on why it is cheaper to remove defects during
the requirement phase itself, and thus it make sense to include
testers in the requirement phase itself.
