Hi ppl

I want a very good format of use cases and test cases. Can anyone
provide me one. I am actually very new to software testing and I have
asked to prepare test cases for an ERP module.

Thanx in advance

i suggest you refer the book, "effective methods for software testing"
by william.E.Perry. It has got a standard (suggested) template for what
you want. It's easily available.

Hello sir/madam,

I have seen ur id in google groups. So, please dont mind i am
taking the liberty to directly mail you on this id without ur
permission.

The sole reason is,I am new to testing and i have interviews in the
nearby time. I have some doubts in Test director.

In Test plan module, after we create the test cases, we divide them
into test sets. On what basis do we do that?
And where do we have all the testplan components like approaches to
be followed, testing types to be done and test environment needed etc?
How can we set the dependencies ampong the test cases and for what
do we do that?

Please help me for this with appropriate answers.
