Author Evalid is a good webtesttool

I agree with Bernard.
E-valid is a simple but most effective tool for record playbak,
loadtest, etc.

I find the best feature is that is really acts as an browser. Most of
the other tools are testing via objects, but not via the real browser
functionality.

Thanks for the kind words! we really appreciate that!

In particular, your description of eValid as a "...simple but
most effective..." tool is particularly heart-warming.

It means we've met our main goal, to keep the user interface
clean and neat and effective, but still include in the eValid
product suite all the power and sophistication needed for a
full-fledged broad-application professional level web
application testing engine.

On the outside, as a fully instrumented web browser, eValid is
simple and easy to use and very reliable. But on the inside,
eValid is far from simple. That apparently simplicity does
not come easily!

Many of the things eValid does -- even actions as simple as
navigating to a new page and reliably knowing that the
navigation is complete (fully synchronized), with timing and
validating all of the activity that goes on during the process
-- require some pretty complex internal coding. FYI, there
are somewhat over 4,000 KLOC of C++ in the entire eValid
product suite.

With the knowledge of how complex eValid actually is, the words
"...simple but most effective..." are especially gratifying.

Thanks again!
