If I were to use the phrase "commercial software testing", I would
intend it to mean the testing of software that is a product sold for
profit. I would be specifically excluding web stuff (no matter how
elaborate/corporate/professional) and freeware (ditto).

Take my definition with skepticism. I often can't figure out what
other people mean when they use what I think is my native language to
describe things in what I think is my profession.
