Hamburg, Germany - 2006-01-17 froglogic GmbH today announced the
availability of Squish/Tk. This new Squish edition enables user to
test applications based on the widely used Tk toolkit.

To date, Squish (http://www.froglogic.com/squish), a professional
automated GUI test tool, provided the capability to test Qt and XView
applications. Inspired by the success of those product lines,
froglogic decided to integrate support for more toolkits and
technologies into Squish. At the same time froglogic's developers keep
improving Squish's capabilities for existing toolkit integrations.

"Due to our Tk product offerings such as Tq and Pq and a strong
customer base in the EDA industry, we saw high demand for automatic
GUI testing of Tk applications in the market. This helped us decide
that Tk would become the next toolkit supported by Squish.", explained
Reginald Stadlbauer, froglogic's CTO.

In addition to Qt, XView and Tk, Squish can also be used for testing
mixed Qt/Tk applications based on froglogic's Tq solution (see
www.froglogic.com/tq). This allows to record, replay and access
widgets and properties on both Tk and Qt widgets in such mixed
application from within Squish.

Pre-releases of Squish/Tk are already successfully used by pilot
customers. Squish/Tk will be publically released together with Squish
2.2. If you are interested in Squish/Tk and would like to try it out
now, please contact us at squish@froglogic.com.
