Mercury Quality Center question

| I'm currently evaluating different software programs to aid in testing
and development for my company. I was wondering if anyone used the
Mercury Quality Center software, and if so, how do you like it? Or can
anyone recommend a good and comperable utility? Thanks in advance.

Heather;
I am a test automation manager for a very large multi-national company.
We started using Mercury products (Winrunner, Testdirector etc) five
years ago, producing over 500,000 LOCC TSL code.
Those five years with Mercury Interactive were a nightmare of shoddy
reliability, shyster rip-off sales people, and totally incompetent tech
support.
In fact we dropped our $50K a year maintenance contract ( amid multiple
THREATS from the renewal flunky) as Mercury's India based Tech Support
refused to assist us with multiple memory leak problems in Winrunner that
was blocking our ability to test product reliability! In response to
the huge documentation we had for Mercury's physical and virtual memory
leaks (generated by OUR engineering staff), Mercury Tech Support
suggested that we run SCANDISK, then defrag the disk! What fools..
We recently switched to Segue SilkTest for our new product lines. We are
very satisifed with the sales, tech support and quality of Silktest.
Sincerely,
|
