MSVS 6.0 to MSVS7.1 for RTW + EC

Sorry for the cryptic title. It should have read:
Problems and issues surrounding migration from Microsoft
Visual Studio 6.0 Pro (C++) to Mircosoft Visual Studio 7.1
C++ for Real-time Workshop with Embedded Coder.

Let me explain:
We are compiling the RTW produced code successfully in both
VS6 and VS7.1, but when we run the libs in our architecture
we are seeing different results from the libs depending on
if it was compiled in VS6 or VS7.1. The lib produced from
VS6 seems to be giving the correct results, but the lib
compiled from VS7.1 is providing erronous results. The *.h
and *.c files are the same for both cases.

So, is there some commonly know issued surrounding
compiling RTW+EC produced source code in VS6 vs. compiling
in VS7.1.
