i am trying out the em_gm code available on Matlab Central
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/
loadFile.do?objectId=8636
currently it plots with mean values on the x-axis. how can
i find out the points where it fits the various gaussians.
i tried cross-correlation of the curve (obtained by using
the parameters it returns in gaussmf)with the the data used
for curve fitting but it does not seem to work.

Vaibhav, if you have access to the latest release (R2007b) of the
Statistics Toolbox, it includes functions to fit Gaussian mixture models:

Hope this helps.
