Regarding Matrix computation

Hai

I am doing a numerical modeling of a fish using a mapping method.
In this process, I am using the LAPACK routine for the svd routine
for decomposing a complex matrix. My job is to predict the results in
Quad precision in Fortran and compare with the double precision
results. After going through some loops, (modal combinations,) the
SVD routine from Matlab is more stable compared with the Fortran
routine although I use the same SVD routine from LAPACK.

Can i know what stabilization routines Matlab uses to condition the
matrix. It would be of great help if you could tell me the process
invovled. I looked at the mldivide and Inv documents but they were
not clear to me. Please help
