Author Question on Student version of 14sp3

Hi,

I currently own the student version of Matlab r14, SP2. It is a
hideous pain having to take the cd round everywhere I go when I want
to use it on my iBook - in case I accidentally close it, or if matlab
crashes.

I have heard that the student version of sp3 no longer requires the
cd to run, however it looks like it is online-licence based - would
this allow me to install it on both my ibook and home PC? Obviously
when at home I would want to run it on my more powerful PC but have
the option of being able to use it on my iBook when away. Does the
software/installation do anything to prevent usage of this type?

Thanks!
