Problem in symbolic toolbox

Hi.

I have a little problem. And here it is: I generate a 10 symbolic
functions,that I can solving with
solve(function_name1=0',...,function_name2=0'). And this is
problem,while Matlab believing the function_name1 as a variable, not
a symbolic function.
Please anyone help me,it is important. Thanks
