Author Problem with smithchart

Hi,
I want to plot some impedance values on a Smith chart from measured
data using the 'smithchart' command. Plotting S11 is fine, but if
this data is converted to normalised impedance (i.e. Z =
(1+S11)./(1-S11)), just a blank Smith chart is plotted. Does anyone
know why this is happening?

'smithchart' doesn't seem to have any option to change the
characteristic impedance, though the 'smith' command for rfdata
objects does. I'm using RF Toolbox 1.0 on MATLAB 7.0.

Thanks for your help,
Brian
