Hi,
So I've been having the same problem on my new compaq v2000z laptop
w/ an ATi Radeon xpress 200m grafix. After installing matlab 7 it
goes through initialization and then just disappears from the
desktop. There appears to be no residue of program in the task
manager. Matlab 7 would not run before or after sp2, also newly
installed drivers, or the DEP thing. I'm not sure what to do as I
need this laptop to do matlab for my thesis. Matlab 6, however, does
run, so maybe I'll make due until there is a new driver.
