Hi,

I have to develop automatic installation.

I would like to explain this with small example.

STEP 1: Installed mysetup.exe(version 1.0) for MS Outlook on 1st
January 2006.
STEP 2: New version of mysetup.exe(version 2.0) is released at
www.mycompany.com on 1st June 2006.
STEP 3: I have to show one alert like Norton Anti virus on 1st June 2006.
STEP 4: I have to install mysetup.exe(version 2.0) if user asks to
install lastest setup.

I stucked at STEP 4.

Can anybody suggest better approach than below approach?

1. I would like replace the .dlls or .exes with latest from
mysetup.exe(version 2.0).

Any API's are there to achieve this?
Any discussion forums are there for automatic installation?
Any tools or articles on this?
