cant create events for activex control in vc++ 7

when i do right-click -> Add... on the class view over the control
class, it shows the options:

- implement interface
- add function
- add variable
- add connection point

ive read that connection points are the same than events, but when i
choose this option it creates an interface which i cant do anything.

im going banana with this trouble :-P and mr.google doesnt show me the
way.

please, any idea well explained.
