hi

using VC8, in the settings i would like to
use Static link to ATL so that i dont have to
ship ATL.dll with my program.. but it refuses
to compile because of a Manifest error :

error c101008a: Failed to save the updated manifest to the file
".\debug\DownloadLib.dll.embed.manifest". The parameter is incorrect.

i need to use a COM dll in win98/me/2k/xp without
shipping ATL7. Is it possible ?

Do a "clean" for this project.
I had the same problem and
clean was the way out
