Microsoft Webservices - VCDeploy error VCD0019

I am trying to deploy a test web-service using Visual Studio 2005 C++. When
I do a "Rebuild All", the project compiles and links fine but I get the
following error.
vcdeploy: error VCD0019: Virtual Directory Path was empty

I do have IIS installed with root for web-sites set to c:\inetpub\wwwroot.
In fact I have a folder named c:\inetpub\wwwroot\TempConvert and an Alias
named "TempConvert" in IIS.

General properties for web-deployment in VS are
Relative Path: TempConvert
Virtual Directory Name: TempConvert

I'm not sure what the error "Virtual Directory Path was empty" means? Is it
referring to the root directory for web-deployment (c:\inetpub\wwwroot)? If
so where do I set this in Visual Studio.
