Unable to run MSDN Webservice sample application

Platform : Windows XP Professional , microsoft vs.net 2003, IIS(internet
information services) version 5.1

Hello,

I am trying to run the MSDN sample webservice "When I open the project
ONLINEADDRESSBOOK.SLN given with msdn.I get the following error message
"vs.net has detected that the specified webservice is not running asp.net
version1.1 , you will be unable to run asp.net webapplication.
i) I have tried asp.net registration tool Aspnet_regiis.exe -i
but it still give error message.
ii) I have checked that services of IIS and ASP.NET1.1 are running .

Could someone let me know what could be the problem? Any pointers or links
would be of great help.
