what is a workload file and how do i create one?

Already answered that in your other post (Jun7 "sql quest").
Cut 'n paste:

In my mind that is a file produced by SQL profiler that can be
applied to the Index Tuning Wizard to provide a sample workload on a
database that the wizard (or it's successor, Database Tuning
Analyzer) can analyze to give you index recommendations.
