Author Error when using Stored Procedure as datasource

Good afternoon,
I am using Crystal Reports v.9 and SQL Server 2000. I am trying to
create a report using a Stored Procedure and I get an error that states
"Not Supported Details: Cannot get error from server" when I select the
SP as my datasource and enter date parameters.

Other reports are using this stored procedure but they were created by
someone else. They are running successfully. Any ideas how I can
troubleshoot this?

The stored procedure has one unusal aspect. It calls a stored procedure
on another server that puts data into a temp table. That data is then
copied to this server. The stored procedure doesn't generate errors
when I run it on the server.

I don't have very much experience with stored procedures or crystal
reports so I would appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Kathy
