| My report viewer displays the reports fine. However when I export the
report directly to a PDF, some fonts are not shown correctly. Is there any
way to embed them or is there some other problem here.?
Any help appreciated.

| some fonts in pdf's dont come accross correctly. I found this to be true
with barcode fonts. If your printer configuration has an option to print as
graphic, give that a shot, then it prints it as an entire vector image, and
does not try to translate fonts to a comparable printer font.

| Hello again George. Not sure that will work. I'm using the Acrobat Viewer
to view the PDF and even that does not show the font.

| Thinking about this. I could create pdf's from my VB app prior to
installing Adobe. So that must mean I am using a different driver. I can
change the settings for Adobe Distiller to be optimized for screen or print.
Can I do this for the VB driver somehow.?

| yes, i could see why that might be a legal problem to embed the font in the
pdf document...but there should be SOME way of exporting the file as an
image format.
