Author Embedding font

My report viewer displays the reports fine. However when I export the
report directly to a PDF, some fonts are not shown correctly. Is there any
way to embed them or is there some other problem here.?

Any help appreciated.

some fonts in pdf's dont come accross correctly. I found this to be true
with barcode fonts. If your printer configuration has an option to print as
graphic, give that a shot, then it prints it as an entire vector image, and
does not try to translate fonts to a comparable printer font.

Hello again George. Not sure that will work. I'm using the Acrobat Viewer
to view the PDF and even that does not show the font.

Thinking about this. I could create pdf's from my VB app prior to
installing Adobe. So that must mean I am using a different driver. I can
change the settings for Adobe Distiller to be optimized for screen or print.
Can I do this for the VB driver somehow.?

Anyone?

yes, i could see why that might be a legal problem to embed the font in the
pdf document...but there should be SOME way of exporting the file as an
image format.

possibly?
