Im using VB6 and Crystal report 8

I get a query in a string variable as an input and I need to generate
report with that....

Problem is i dont know wat the query has...it may have a summary field,
alias name or anything else

Wat Ive done is I open a recordset with that query....if it opens
successfully...then i treat is as a valid query

My problem here is if there is a summary field in the query or an alias
field

how do i get the field names, table names, and the conditionals in that
field??????

and how do i add that????
