| We're using Crystal Reports 9. We're using ASP to pass parameters to
the Crystal ActiveX Report
Viewer, but the first time I run a report, it asks me for the username
and password.
I get a message that looks like:
Crystal Report Viewing Logon
Logon credentials for this request are missing.
Without these credentials the report is not
viewable. Please enter your user name and
password. (On Page Server: mybox)
(If you are unsure of your account information,
contact your system administrator.)
APS Name: mybox
Authentication Type: Enterprise
User Name: _____________
Password: _____________
Log On
It's not asking for the db pwd, but for a valid Crystal Reports User.
If I enter the username and password, it runs fine and from then on, I
can access reports without it asking me for the password, until I
start a new browser session.
What's the solution to this? I know this was "bug" that was fixed in 8
and 8.5...but I don't see
anything on the support site for Crystal 9.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks,
CS
